Regret (Under My Skin, #1) [Brin & Nick] by Christina Lee

I loved EVERYTHING about this book. Loved the MCs, the side characters like Elijah, Nick's roommate, loved the setting with Elijah and Brin working at a dog "day care", yeah, as I said - Everything. Nick and Brin getting to reacquaint each other, 11 years after they crushed on one another was the sweetest "enemies to lovers" with an attraction NO ONE can ignore. We get the whole story, with all the heartache and so much confusion and misunderstanding from both Brin and Nick. It was beautiful seeing the "cracks" in both their masks about what they meant to each other back then, and what is happening between them now.

The Director and Don Juan (The Story Sisters #2) [Alice & Carlos] by Katy Regnery

This book was one of my absolute favorites in the series. Funny enough with each book I read I feel the same - they are just getting BETTER AND BETTER. I loved the whole idea behind this one, the "reversed roles" and the way it wasn't in all aspects. I loved the fact they are different and yet they fit perfectly together. They are both gorgeous, and I don't just mean physically - they are these two amazing people, each in her/his own right and they deserved to get the best HEA possible.

Stay (WAGs #2) [Hailey & Matt] by Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy

Sarina and Elle killed it again! I LOVED this story so much! Matt and Hailey were perfect for one another, perfect together and each on his/her own. I also liked Hailey's business - so clever! and getting more of the guys on the team (yeah, especially Blakey) was AWESOME.

We got glimpses of Matthew Eriksson in the previous installment but what we got didn't prepare me enough to fall in love with this sweet guy with this HUGE heart who fears he can never find a HEA, especially while being a professional Hockey player. His ex really did a number on him, blaming him on everything that went wrong in their marriage and now treating him like an invalid as a father to their twins girls. He loves his girls so he'll do right around anything (including change his recipe of waffles into a gluten free one - YUCK!) if that's what their mother wants. So while his teammates are (mostly) having fun he is reserved, returning home to his dog while the young ones are partying with anyone willing. Meeting Hailey was not something he expected but as kept texting with her he realized he really DOES want to meet her (even if he doesn't have anything real to offer her..)

Ice Blue (Lord and Lady Hetheridge #1) by Emma Jameson

I really enjoyed this one. I didn't know what to expect but since I loved everything else I've read by Emma - in other pen names (T. Baggins / S.A. Reid) it was only a matter of time before I gave this one a go. It's somewhere between a Mystery and Romantic Suspense novel. There is little to any romance in this one, it's mostly the two MC getting to know one another and building a friendship with each thinking of more but not being sure if and how it could be possible and not only because of age difference and rank. Though I'm not into Mysteries usually this one was interesting and engaging. I had my thoughts about who's the killer and I was right (though I second guessed myself probably the whole book..). But that's the way I enjoy Mysteries really, ones that aren't THAT difficult to solve ;)
