The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires (Half Moon Hollow 1) by Molly Harper

Took me a day to read this one.
It's not one of these books you scream "master piece" when you finish reading it. more like you finish it with a smile and a feeling of closure.
Well written, smart, funny, sweet.
Great read for a day-off.
I loved the characters, their interaction/relationship with each other. Irish and Gigi - real sisters in every definition - fighting, laughing, embarrassing each other. The relationship of Iris and Cal and the time it took for them to build that relationship. The changes in Cal toward Iris and after that toward Gigi.

This book really "flows". It easy to get invested in the book and forget yourself from start to finish. there wasn't any "boring" part which I wanted to "be over" so the interesting staff happens.

As I understand the next book isn't about Iris and Cal but about the "neighborhood" with other main characters. Well, that's too bad! I'd love to read more about Iris, Cal and Gigi, but I guess their story comes to a clear end that there is no "real need" to add more books about them. which is a good thing in a way.
